Outdoor dining didn't affect the wonderful food or service! I enjoyed the Chicken & Ham pasta while my husband had the Rib Eye Steak, the best he's ever tasted! As for the gorgeous creamy Guinness!!!!!! He thought he'd died and gone to Heaven! We were served by a fabulous personable young lady who was only on her second day working there. My husband and I have just returned after a week in Ballymoney which we enjoyed immensely! The highlight of our week was our visit to The Orphan Girl! Straight off we were asked for a name and contact number and then shown to an extremely. When the staff went to do this, our original order couldn’t be found……Īny way, after some negotiation we managed to get our chips after a very disappointing birthday evening. We then remembered we wanted to order an extra side so went back in to add to our order. So we placed the order and were happy to wait the 15 mins. We then had to go to the adjoining chipper. Perhaps a lack of training in how the restaurant worked? I am at a loss! Staff were polite but seemed to be wandering aimlessly and not very attentive to our requests. After 3 more requests for someone to come to the table- we gave up and left over an hr later and no food later.īut not overly so. We were told they were busy and someone would be with us soon. We accepted that this delay may have been a lack of communication on our side and asked to order. We waited for menus and a food order for quite a while. No bookings taken- fine- we queued and a table became available. Wanted to take my family here for a bday dinner treat.
